About St. Luke's

The St. Luke's Difference

Philosophy & Values

Everything we do at St. Luke’s Hospice is focused on improving the quality of life for the residents, patients, families, clients and associates we serve. We recognize and appreciate the importance of the human spirit and deeply believe that memory impairment and other chronic and acute health conditions do not signify the end of a rich and meaningful life.

Leadership

The leadership team at St. Luke’s Hospice embodies the knowledge, experience and spirit that define who we are. Not only do our leaders embrace our philosophies and core values by using them to guide their own lives, but they serve St. Luke’s as both shining examples of what a leader should be and how as innovators in Hospice Care, they can make the world better.

Clinical Experience

Because of our core values and philosophy of Hospice Care, we at St. Luke’s recognize that each client, resident and patient is unique, requiring specific and distinct needs. We also know and understand that the best possible quality of life can only be achieved when top-notch clinical care is provided with compassion.

What is Hospice?

Hospice is a specialized type of medical care for the purpose of maintaining or improving the quality of life for someone who is facing a life-limiting condition, disease or illness that is unlikely to be cured. Hospice Care addresses a patient’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Hospice Care also helps the patient’s family and caregivers.
